Certified Defense Financial Manager (CDFM)
The CDFM is a test-based certification for financial management professionals who are civilian or military members of the Department of Defense, U.S. Coast Guard, or employees of defense contractors and suppliers. Learn more about the CDFM and start the process of getting certified!
Defense Financial Management Institute (DFMI)
Formerly known as Professional Development Institute (PDI), DFMI is a series of multi-day training events held at various locations. It enhances the knowledge and skills for financial managers in the DoD, US Coast Guard, and public and private sectors and focuses on today’s defense financial challenges. The next DFMI will be located in Huntsville, AL from 24-25 Feb 2026. SDFM is also planning a DFMI in Orlando, FL for late May 2026.
